Korean spicy rice cake

I've cooked these a million times, so trust me on this~ 
So my secret ingredient is actually oven baked onions :P


depends on how much you're gonna cook, around 2 portion will be 3 medium-large onions. stand them on some coarse sea salt(can use normal salt) and roast onion whole in the oven for 2-3 hours until caramelized.


Removed the skin and mashed the caramelized onions using a spoon in a bowl and add 
4 tbsp        Korean red pepper paste
5 tbsp        Honey
5 tbsp        sesame oil
1 tbsp        fish sauce
2 tbsp        sugar
