Who loves awfully chocolate's chocolate cake too?!
I have always wanted to bake cakes like awfully chocolate's, and I guess I came up with a recipe nearest to the perfect cake in my mind.
If there's no vanilla EXTRACT, I will never ever bake a cake using vanilla ESSENCE.
Once I had all my ingredients ready, then I realised that I ran out of vanilla extract. There's still a bottle of vanilla essence, but I refused to use it in my cake cause vanilla essence ruins the cake. Yes I have very serious OCD.
Brown sugar... oh i love'em.
Saved some coffee from breakfast, and coffee really brings out the taste of the chocolate. I swear you can't even taste the coffee.
look at the yummy batter. NOMNOM.
Used a glass mould to bake today, lightly buttered and floured instead of cooking spray/ parchment paper. I love using glass mixing bowls and I would gladly buy a glass whisk if there is one. Sorry I'm such a hipster ▲
And TAAADAAA dense and moist chocolate cake for the devil!
